2014年の研究を紹介します。女性が交際相手に選んだ男性に対しては、声のトーンが高い声で会話することが判明しました。興味深いことに、多くの女性から人気を集めている格上の男性に対しては声のトーンを下げることがわかりました。
Interestingly, although women spoke with a higher and more variable voice pitch towards men they selected as potential mates, women lowered both voice pitch parameters towards men who were most desired by other women and whom they also personally preferred.
